Meal Options Provided by Shaklee

Those who participate in the Tuesday offsite Charity events (in the community of New Orleans, away from the hotels and Morial Center) will receive water, snacks and lunch.

On Wednesday, water and snacks will be provided to those participating in the offsite charity events. All offsite events end at 12 p.m., just in time for you to go out for lunch!

Remember, three Cinch™ breakfasts, and two box lunches (on Thursday and Friday) are included with your New Orleans registration fee.

For all other meals, you are free to enjoy the wide array of dining options in fabulous New Orleans!


Dining Options in New Orleans
There are so many dining options in New Orleans! You name it, you'll find it—from inexpensive to elaborate to highly unique, New Orleans' fabulous cuisine will satisfy your palate.

And the great part is that there is a full range of fare within walking distance of the Morial Convention Center (MCC)!

Food costs per day can obviously range high and low. May we recommend reviewing the options suggested by two reputable sources on dining options around the city of New Orleans? We recommend checking with restaurants in New Orleans to inquire whether reservations are needed.


Important Note about Dinner on Saturday
Of course, we feel the best way to enjoy dinner on Saturday evening is to register for the Shaklee Cares® Mardi Gras Benefit Dinner!

It will be an unforgettable evening in New Orleans—a seated dinner of regional Cajun and Creole cuisine, silent and live auctions and live jazz music with net proceeds benefiting Shaklee Cares® New Orleans relief efforts. The cost to attend is $75.00 per person or $750.00 per table of ten. Reserve your seat and/or table by June 30, 2006. Mardi Gras attire encouraged.

This will be one of the highlights of this year's Global Conference - a memorable way to cap off your Conference experience, and a huge boost to Shaklee's efforts to help the city of New Orleans recover. You'll want to be there! Please register right away!

Other Options
If you are unable to attend the glamorous Shaklee Cares Benefit Dinner, you'll have other options:

  • Vendors outside Hall E in the Morial Convention Center
  • With your team out on the town. There are many inexpensive and upscale options! New Orleans is very well known for its fine cuisine and gold old Jazz music.
  • Of course, there's always Cinch!

After Dinner, Get Ready for Fun!
After dinner, when you come back to the main arena (Hall E) it will be set up as a Shaklee Idol Concert and masquerade party and dance.

Some people will be dressed in beautiful, elaborate masks and Mardi Gras costumes, while others will be dressed in jeans and simple masks or beads they bought in New Orleans. Get creative! People will be dressed in all different ways, all excited and ready to have fun!
