As you know, the original rack rates at Shaklee preferred hotels were discounted for Shaklee Family Members staying at those hotels. And now, the rates have been lowered even further at select hotels!

• Take advantage of Shaklee's negotiated low, low, low rates. These rates are lower than you will find anywhere else. Shaklee has personally met with hotel management at each location to get these low rates.
• Free, air conditioned shuttles will take you safely to the Ernest N. Morial Center. If you decide to stay at a hotel other than a Shaklee Preferred Hotel, you will be responsible for your own transportation to event sites.
• Shaklee home office representatives have personally visited and inspected each hotel recently and have made great efforts to verify your stay will be first rate-from the quality of the accommodations, to the service, amenities, security, air conditioning, internet access and meal arrangements. You won't be disappointed.... we promise!
• Don't take a chance on all the “unmentionable unknowns" - noise, cleanliness issues, old facilities, mold, uncomfortable beds- that can happen at second rate hotels. We want you to be well rested and ready for an EXCELLENT conference!

The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is the official Shaklee host hotel. Each attendee is responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. Be sure to reserve your room(s) as soon as possible. Shaklee room blocks can sell out quickly!

Will there be events held at the host hotel?

Aside from the Masters Advisory Board meetings, no conference events will be held in the host hotel.

Unlike the 2007 Conference in Nashville, where conference events were just an elevator ride and short walk from hotel rooms, if you stay at the host hotel you still have to ride a shuttle bus to the main events.

Hilton New Orleans Riverside According to a recent hotel industry trade publication, our host hotel, the 1,662-room Hilton New Orleans Riverside recently wrapped up several projects in a $66-million renovation that's set to completely revitalize the hotel by the end of 2008.

Earlier this year, the registration area was redesigned, the business center expanded, meeting space refreshed, and the 109,000 square foot Health Club by Hilton renovated.

Drago's Restaurant, a New Orleans institution known for its charbroiled oysters, opened an outlet of the first floor in May. By year end, a new lobby bar called Spirits will open in the atrium. (MeetingNews, December 3, 2007)

Shaklee has contracted with The Housing Connection, a service that makes navigating your hotel choices easier, helping you to book your room(s) in New Orleans.

The Housing Connection will serve as your single point of contact for any of the Shaklee Preferred Hotels, as well as to facilitate any changes you may need to make to your hotel reservation(s).

To get the preferred rate, please use this system. Reservations made outside the online Housing Connection system do not qualify for preferred rates.

Pricing for Shaklee Preferred Hotels is based on the number of occupants in the room. Please keep in mind that prices do not include taxes and other charges. Taxes currently are 13% (subject to change), and there is also a room occupancy tax currently ranging from $1 to $3 per room per night.
